Faith & Religion
[Established Lore] What the game has always held to be true.
Faith
The Old Ways
Shamanism is the orcs' oldest faith. The shamans speak to the elements and the ancestors, and they ask for guidance. The Den in the Valley of Trials is where Horde shamans begin. The Tainted Tablet and Glyphic Parchment wait inside. [New in Forever] [Game · Quest: Tainted Tablet] [Game · Quest: Glyphic Parchment]
The Darker Path
Warlocks and demon worship nearly destroyed the orcs. The Burning Blade still follows that road in Durotar, and the Cleft of Shadow in Orgrimmar is where warlocks train. [Game · Quest: Burning Blade Medallion]
Do not mix the two. A shaman who calls a demon is a very different character from a warlock who bargains with one.
Honoring the Dead
The orcs honor their dead with fire and with stories. Heroes are remembered by name, and the Horde does not forget those who fell.
