The Skyborne

[New in Forever] Learned since launch, with the quest, NPC or zone it comes from.

The new race of Forever. They begin on Zephras Isle and join the Alliance as the High Order or the Horde as the Windshapers.

The Skyborne are the new race in WoW Forever. They begin on Zephras Isle, a floating island in Skywall, the elemental plane of air, and they leave it to join the Alliance or the Horde. Their full lore page is under Races.

Two Orders

  • The High Order. Mages, and the Alliance path. They descend from the Highborne magisters of Eldre'Thalas. [Game · Quest: The High Order]
  • The Windshapers. Shamans, and the Horde path. They descend from the night elf citizens, and keep closer to the elements. [Game · Quest: The Windshapers]

Classes

  • Both orders: Warrior, Hunter, Rogue, Druid
  • High Order only: Mage
  • Windshapers only: Shaman
  • No Paladins, Priests or Warlocks

Both orders fight the same enemy, the Al'Aketh cult, and both swear to Valennia Stormfist's cause. They do not always like each other, and their apprentices fight in the Shen'dar Highlands. [Game · Quest: In Service of Zephras]

Leaving the Isle

  • Alliance Skyborne take a portal to Stormwind and report to Bolvar Fordragon. [Game · Quest: Welcome to Azeroth]
  • Alliance Skyborne can also take a skycutter ship to Dalaran. [Game · Quest: The Magical City of Dalaran]
  • Horde Skyborne are sent to Thrall in Orgrimmar. [Game · Quest: Welcome to Azeroth]
  • Horde Skyborne can take a skycutter to Mulgore, docking at Skywatcher Plateau. [Game · Quest: The Earthen Ring]

Zephras Isle is never closed to you. The same ships bring you back.
