Recent History
The Plague and the Third War
The Scourge spread a plague across Lordaeron. Villages and towns fell, and the dead walked [WCIII]. The Kingdom of Lordaeron fell, and Prince Arthas was the one who ended it.
Freedom
When the Lich King's will broke, Sylvanas led the free undead out of the Scourge and into Tirisfal Glades. They took the ruins beneath Lordaeron for themselves [WCIII · The Frozen Throne].
The Undercity
The Forsaken rebuilt the city beneath Lordaeron, and called it the Undercity [Game · Zone: Undercity]. It has a Royal Quarter, an Apothecarium, and quarters for war, magic and trade.
Joining the Horde
The Forsaken joined Thrall's Horde. The tauren made a pact with them, though some in Thunder Bluff were wary [Game · Quest: Compendium of the Fallen]. The Horde gave the Forsaken allies against the Alliance and the Scarlet Crusade.
The Scarlet Crusade
The Scarlet Crusade is the Forsaken's great enemy. Its zealots hunt the undead in Tirisfal and the Plaguelands [Game · Quest: At War With The Scarlet Crusade].
Silverpine and Beyond
The Forsaken took Silverpine Forest, fighting worgen and Dalaran mages. They hold the Sepulcher, and keep watch on Ambermill [Game · Zone: Silverpine Forest].
The Forsaken Today
The Forsaken hold the Undercity, Tirisfal Glades and Silverpine Forest. They are loyal to Sylvanas, and to each other. Forever adds the Forsaken Paladin, a new combination, and Bandarion Keep in Tirisfal. [New in Forever]
