Daily Life
The tauren don't waste what the land gives them. Hunters follow the herds, and shamans and druids tend the spirits of the land. Warriors guard the borders.
Thunder Bluff is built on four great mesas connected by rope bridges. Spirit Rise is for the shamans, Elder Rise is for the elders, and Hunter Rise is for the hunters [Game · Zone: Thunder Bluff].
The Rites
A young tauren proves themselves through the Rites of the Earthmother. The tests take you from Camp Narache to Bloodhoof Village, and out to Thousand Needles, where a tauren must prove their strength by facing the elemental Rok'Alim [Game · Quest: Test of Strength].
Respect for the Land
The tauren believe that life and death are a circle, and that neither can exist without the other [Game · Quest: Sharing the Land]. Hollowing out the earth is no way to earn its teachings [Game · Quest: Dwarven Digging].
The Dead
The tauren bury their dead on an isolated needle in Thousand Needles, where the sacred fire of life burns [Game · Quest: Arikara].
The Elders
Elders are listened to. The Elder Council advises Cairne [Game · Quest: Compendium of the Fallen], and Magatha is called the most powerful shaman among them [Game · Quest: Arikara]. A tauren who ignores an elder is a fool.
More to come soon.
