History
After the Second War, the stonemasons who rebuilt Stormwind were left unpaid. The Brotherhood began as a protest and ended as a criminal gang. VanCleef was their leader. [WoW Classic · Westfall quests]
Where to Find Them
The Deadmines are their base. Their agents are found in Westfall, Elwynn and the Alliance cities.
Playing a Member
- A Defias character is a mason with a grudge. They have a real complaint.
- Do not play a Defias who is just a thief. They were wronged.
- Stormwind guards will arrest your character.
